Because we like to switch things up, we are whipping up a better-for-you dessert that features GoGo squeeZ’s brand new Blueberry YogurtZ flavor, and just in time to celebrate National Dairy Month.
As a registered dietitian, I believe all foods can fit – even desserts, especially when they are made with wholesome ingredients like whole wheat flour, fruit and yogurt. With this built-in-portion control recipe, you’ll get a serving of fruit plus 12 grams of protein in every mug – a pretty good deal for dessert. Since this makes just one mug cake, you can easily it whip together and not be tempted to have seconds. And by using the microwave for baking instead of the oven, you’ll be enjoying this yummy treat in less than 15 minutes from start to finish.
Kids of all ages can easily mix the ingredients together, right in the mug. Then have them pop it in the microwave and watch them ooh and ahh as the mini cake rises. Once cooled, they can drizzle the fruit and yogurtZ topping over top.
Here’s to healthy eats that always are delicious!

DetailDirections
01
In a 12-ounce microwave-safe mug, squeeze in half of the GoGo squeeZ® YogurtZ pouch. Add egg, honey, vanilla, lemon zest; whisk together well. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk until dry ingredients are just wet. Gently fold in ¼ cup blueberries.
02
Place mug on a small microwave-safe plate and put in microwave (as some blueberry juice may spill over during cooking.) Microwave for 2 minutes (the cake will rise fairly high and then will sink a bit as soon as you open the microwave door.)
03
While the cake is cooking, in a small bowl, whisk together contents of the remaining GoGo squeeZ® YogurtZ pouch and remaining 2 tablespoons of blueberries.
04
Remove cake from microwave and let cool for 10 minutes. Top with GoGo squeeZ® Blueberry YogurtZ topping.
